The TURNKEY RETROFIT project has developed SOLUTIONS4RENOVATION which is a free service that guides owners and occupants step by step in the energy renovation of their homes. SOLUTIONS4RENOVATION relies on public or private services. In all cases, the tools and information made available are reliable, impartial and easy to use. To achieve this result, the TURNKEY RETROFIT project worked on an initial technical and behavioral diagnosis, technical offer, contract development and agreement, structuring and provision of financial support, as well as on-site coordination. work and quality assurance.

The building sector is one of the largest energy consumers in Europe and is responsible for more than one third of the EU’s emissions. Energy-efficient building renovation is one of the crucial measures to achieve the goal of a climate-neutral Europe in 2050. The EU-funded TURNKEY RETROFIT project worked at developing and replicating an integrated home renovation service to transform the complex and fragmented renovation process into a simple, straightforward and attractive process for the homeowner. Through a user-friendly digital platform, TURNKEY RETROFIT offers tailor-made solutions aimed at home improvement, increased comfort, energy consumption reduction as well as enhanced health and quality of life.

R2M Solution led the business model’s development and the elaboration of the Exploitation Plans for Sustainability and Large-Scale Uptake Beyond Project Lifetime. R2M also compared results from local implementations and contributed to draw lessons for large-scale uptake of the TURNKEY RETROFIT service.
