Marco Rocchetti
Thematic Area Leader – Energy & Technologies
Marco Rocchetti is a registered mechanical engineer and Energy Manager (EGE) with the Association of Engineers of Ancona. He has worked in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy since graduating from the RIDEF master’s degree at the Politecnico di Milano in 2007. He has gained experience in energy engineering, particularly with renewable systems such as PV and ST panels, wind turbines, heat pumps, geothermal systems, and CHP and micro-CHP. Marco has obtained EGE certification for preparing energy audits in accordance with UNI 11339 and carries out technical and economic assessments to improve energy efficiency in industrial and residential areas. He has worked as a technical-scientific tutor for the RIDEF master’s degree at the Politecnico di Milano and has taught energy policy and management courses at the Università di Camerino.
Main area of activity in R2M:
He joined R2M Solution as a partner in 2014, taking on the roles of innovation manager and energy management expert and project manager for European projects.
He is currently Head of the Energy & Technology department within the Innovation division. He gained business management experience by participating in the creation and development of an innovative start-up company, acting as its legal representative. He also supports IPR management and patent development on an international level.
