Domenico Perfido

Domenico Perfido is a professional engineer in the field of civil engineering, with a specialization in hydraulic engineering, energy engineering, and environmental engineering. He earned his degree under the old Italian university system in 2008 from the University of Naples “Federico II” and has over 10 years of hands-on experience in design and consulting, particularly in relation to water supply networks, stormwater treatment systems, wastewater disposal and treatment systems, road infrastructure upgrades, landfill design and site supervision, and building design. He has conducted research and design activities on topics such as methane production from municipal solid waste, wind tunnel design, and structures for helicopter rotor testing. He has worked as a consultant for the Commissioner for Wastewater Treatment in the Campania Region (Delegated Commissioner O.P.C.M. no. 4022 of May 9, 2012, and Ocdpc no. 16 of August 10, 2012). He was also a member of the integrated building commission of the Municipality of Roccarainola (NA). He holds the qualification to serve as Health and Safety Coordinator during both the design and execution phases of temporary and mobile construction sites, as well as the more recent certification as Health and Safety Officer (RSPP). Since 2025, he has been an ISO 17024 accredited professional with the ENVISION SP certification. His software skills include AutoCAD, SismiCad, Primus, SAP2000, EPANET, sewer systems, and SWMM.

Main area of activity in R2M:

Domenico is R2M partner share owner. He is also part of the engineering division team providing assistance to organizations in the water systems and infrastructure design, safety at work, planning supervisor. Domenico is involved as project manager in the EU water & waste water related research projects WATERNOMICS and INNOQUA
