Greenpass: designing green, resilient, and sustainable cities
R2M Solution is the official distributor of Greenpass in Italy.
Climate change must also be tackled through better design.
Urbanization, heat waves, flooding, and pollution are making cities increasingly vulnerable.
To face these challenges, good intentions are not enough: scientific tools, reliable data, and evidence-based decisions are essential.
Greenpass is the first platform capable of objectively and comparably measuring the impact of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) and Green Infrastructure (GI) on the urban environment.
From the planning of entire districts to the design of individual buildings, Greenpass supports sustainable choices aligned with the EU Taxonomy and ESG objectives, providing climate analyses, simulations, and reliable certifications.
Greenpass Check: the platform for climate proofing
Greenpass Check is an AI-based online platform that enables fast and reliable climate screenings for buildings and real estate portfolios.
Ideal for developers, investors, public administrations (PA), and ESG consultants, it allows you to assess the climate resilience of assets according to EU Taxonomy criteria and obtain immediate quantitative results useful for ESG reporting.
Greenpass Check offers several types of assessment:
Climate risks: analysis of 28 risks according to EU Taxonomy, under current and future scenarios
Climate mitigation: measurement of the potential to reduce CO₂ emissions, energy consumption, and operating costs
Climate adaptation: evaluation of your asset’s resilience to four key challenges — climate, water, air, and biodiversity
Operational recommendations: tailored suggestions with cost estimates and priority actions to increase asset value and sustainability
Greenpass Certification: assess the impact of green solutions
Greenpass also offers a certification — an official technical document issued by accredited experts — that scientifically certifies the climate performance of a project.
It evaluates six key areas essential for urban resilience: climate, water, air, energy, biodiversity, and operating costs.
Based on advanced microclimatic simulations (ENVI-met engine), the certification allows you to:
Compare design scenarios and alternative solutions
Quantify the impact of NBS and GI
Define climate strategies with high environmental, economic, and ESG value
It is the ideal tool to demonstrate a project’s sustainable quality to stakeholders, improve bankability, and access green financing.
