Paul Mlakar

Mr. Mlakar has over 18 years of extensive leadership experience and business acumen obtained from a unique background of military service, government, corporate, and small business. Paul has held several positions of varying capacity in the fields of materials manufacturing, heavy highway construction, and pharmaceutical development. He has a proven track record of understanding the applications of new technology and developing innovative solutions. While serving as VP Production of a materials manufacturer, he fundamentally re-designed the drying process resulting in a 15% reduction in fuel consumption, developed proprietary algorithms for the awarding of construction bidding contracts and helped grow the company from $10M to $50M in 3 years. He understands how to commercialize opportunities and has recently raised private equity and been awarded a $2.3M contract with the U.S. Department of Defense to develop a new pharmaceutical compound. Paul currently divides his time as a Senior Executive for a heavy highway construction company, Co-founder and CEO of BiologicsMD a startup biotech company, and the owner of Graypoint Industries a contracting and consulting company. Paul received a B.S. Civil Engineering degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and MBA from the University of Arkansas, Sam Walton College of Business.

Main area of activity in R2M:

Paul provides strategic advice on company structuring (startups), shareholder agreements, company valuations, business plan development and financial projections. He also serves as the channel for visibility into and requests between the EU and USA.
